Acacia dealbata Lam.

Acacia farnesiana Wild

Fabaceae family

The first plantations of mimosa date back to the late nineteenth century in Esterel and the Tanneron massif. About thirty species are present on French soil, only three are used in perfumery: Acacia Dealbata flowers from January to April, Acacia farnesiania in January and February and Acacia cavenia in April-May. The mimosa scent is sweet, rich, floral woody and slightly green.
